A short collection of the experiences of others encounters with bigfoot as reported to the author. Interesting accounts. I love Toms' series "Living with Bigfoot" and devour each edition the day it is released. These stories were not as detailed as one would hope for, but not all encounters are the same and most are vague as bigfoot is ambiguous and does not intentionally interact with humans as far as I can tell from what I have read. None the less, well written as is Toms' style.
I'm so glad that this author has taken these peoples' bigfoot encounters and put them in a book for all of us to read. Its a great book and a definite must read! After reading these stories, I can't imagine anyone not believing these creatures exist !! This is an absolute must have book for reading around the campfire. Children and adults will be scared listening to these frightening encounters! I think if more and more people speak up and tell their bigfoot stories, then the government agencies that try and keep these things quiet will have to recognize and admit that they do exist. Maybe then people won't have any stigma about reporting their personal experiences. Its awful to be traumatized by an encounter with these species and not be able to freely discuss it for fear of being labeled with a mental illness. Hopefully this book will be the first of many and it will be exactly what is needed in this country to bring this subject to the front burners and not tucked away and treated with shame and ridicule!! So congratulations to the brave people who submitted and shared their encounters with this author, for all of us to read. I believe...do you? I'm not afraid or embarrassed to admit that! Are you??
I thought this was a great read. If you are the least bit interested in bigfoot or pretty much anything related to cryptozoology, then I think you will really enjoy this book. Would be a lot of fun to read around a campfire!!! The series is quite interesting as well, I've read all but the last one "A Manor in the Marsh." Can't wait to see what happens next!
What I found in the stories were two notable characteristics I have seen in other accounts that may explain why there are so few trail cam photos. The creatures seem to be able to see infra-red light. Another characteristic appears to be their aggressively loud vocalizations and low frequency growls that seem to confuse, momentarily stun, and incapacitate their prey...in this case humans. I liked these accounts!
I enjoyed this book. It seems that the people behind the stories were sincere. My only complaint is that the book is short. But it doesn't cost very much either.

Not a lot of stories and half of those were very short. Really hit and miss in regards to the quality of each story. Hope he can do much better next time.
