I’m an American living in Kunming, China and recently purchased the Insight Guides for China and Southeast Asia. For the actual nuts and bolts of traveling, (e.g. addresses and phone numbers of lodgings, plus certain travel and adventure services) guides such as Lonely Planet may be more suitable. However, for photos and encyclopedic information on the countries and places one wants to know more about, the Insight Guides can’t be beat. Their very name says it all. They are packed with information on the history, culture, sociopolitical situation, and sights found in each country. If you really want to know what makes each place truly unique (through history, anthropology, geography, etc) you could probably do no better than the Insight Guides.

Good book for the money. Very easy read and covers the basics of different types of business entities. With this I was able to narrow down the business structure I wanted, and used additional more in depth book to make my final decision. A great book for those like me that know nothing about business structures and starting a business.FYI.. once you decide on a business structure, you can call the appropriate dept on you state's website and they are helpful in letting you know how to make the entity yourself instead of spending hundreds online (e.g. LegalZoom) or paying a lawyer ($$$).

If you're trying to figure out just which legal organization type you need to choose to start your business, this is the book for you. It's short, to the point, and details the major pros and cons to starting your business in each business type. I bought and read half a dozen books (Ok, maybe I didn't finish them all, because some of them are so detailed, they actually overwhelmed me with info) on the subject before finding these little 100 page books. I was leaning toward starting an LLC, which I've started before (as well as an S-corp), but by the time I finished this book, much to my relief, I decided to start off as a sole proprietor using contractors, rather than setting up a complex structure that requires a LOT of paperwork each quarter (especially the S-corp). The author helps you think about your needs and gives you the salient details about what's useful and not so useful in each organization type. The book is written in a very conversational tone which I found comforting. I went through the entire book in 2 sittings of about 1-2 hours each sitting.

I have several books by this author. He is a master at simply explaining complex IRS tax code, analyzing it and in layman's language communicating info that has helped me immensely in knowing how to minimize our taxes. He has a free email you can sign up for online that is very informative about taxes, investing and other financial matters. All his books are small size and about 100 pages, sort of like a Readers Digest version, and very useful.

While a nice short intro on LLC's, you could get into some trouble if this is the only book you read. Consider reading "Nolo's Quick LLC: All You Need to Know About Limited Liability Companies (Quick & Legal) " instead of (or at least with) this book.

As a lawyer, I have all of the necessary books which cover these topics, but what makes this title valuable is that it offers a quick and concise review. This book is full of practical advice, which is what my clients look for.

Easy to understand and helpful for making a decision about the best entity for your business. After reading this book, I was able to have a more intelligent and informed conversation with my CPA for planning purposes.

This is one book you can judge by the cover; Simple, short and to the point. In less than an hour, you will begin to command a practical level of knowledge about each structure. Armed with this, you can confidently pursue deeper knowledge as required. The book reads easily so you don't get wrapped up in legal jargon. I found the book provided a sound foundation from which to build. Considering the Kindle price and ease of access - it is an exceptional bargain. Buy with confidence.

Great historical quotes from Otto Von Bismark and other historical figures at the time really put the reader in perspective of what's going on in the story. Excellent work! From one not personally connected with Kris Vallotton and Bill Johnson or their ministry, here is a very positive review. I approach everything I read with a critical mind, and I came away from this book having been convinced of many things by Vallotton. The "Prince and Pauper Test" in the back of the book is worth the purchase price itself. In fact, that test was how I was first introduced to the book. A relative got the family all to sit down and take it together, and as we went through all eighty questions, skeptical me said, "This guy is spot on--at least 79 out of the 80." :) So I resolved to read the book.The Supernatural Ways of Royalty probes the mindset of the Christian to see how it lines up with our scriptural identity as a child of God. While not every interpretation of every scripture passage quoted is indubitable or beyond countervailing, I found little with which to take definite issue and much to wholeheartedly endorse. (It may be helpful for some to know I do not come from a charismatic background.)The text reads easily but also intellectually. It is permeated with anecdotes but not surfeited with them. In all respects, except the lack of many spaces between sentences which I assume to be the fault of the publisher, this book receives my hearty approval.

I literally LOVE this book so much. I am going to read it again because I love being reminded that I am a Princess!When I first read this book, I wasn't to sure what it was about, but I read the free sample on Amazon and liked it so much I bought the whole book!Kris speaks about having the mindset of a Princess/Prince or a Pauper and at the end of the book you can take a test to see which one you identify more with. This book completely changed my mindset and way of thinking.I was raised a Princess but I always believed the lie that I was a Pauper. While I was reading this book, I had a dream one night that I was literally crushing the enemies jaw. Once I started to believe I was a Princess, I was able to stop believing the lies and realize the truth.Kris also speaks a lot about royal inheritance and at first I was a bit suspicious bc I had not heard much spoken on this subject (besides at Bethel Redding). Not doubting but also not totally sure what he was referencing in scripture, I questioned God about this. I was reminded of a dream I had about a man who found his dead dad's inheritance but he had been carefree with it during his lifetime. Because he was carefree, the family treasure had been hidden until his son sought out to find it. My dream reminded me of the treasure they find on The Goonies! Turns out inheritance is a real thing!I would say read this book and ask for God to open your eyes and show you the truth. God surely opened my eyes!Thanks Kris for writing this book and helping me to realize I am a Princess and that I can help others realize their true identity and calling!!

Through this book, Bill Johnson spoke to me. It is important that I, we see ourselves as Christ sees us. From pauper to princess. In Christ, I am a new creature. Old things have passed away and behold, all things are new. By faith, I receive this. Though others may see this as foolishness, I must believe I am who God says, I am. It is a very good book. If you're struggling with your identity or know someone who is, this book is a good place to begin your recovery.

You will learn a lot about yourself and have more compassion on others. But in this book I learned how to handle people without enabling their pauper mindsets but enourage them to think Godly thoughts.

I think I have lived in the majority mindset most people feel about themselves and their circumstances regardless of their beliefs. I have felt and lived like a pauper my entire life, even though I know Jesus paid the price for my salvation and I am a new creation. I held onto the negative emotions instead of giving them to God. This wonderful book opened my heart and my eyes to my destructive thinking and now I understand what it means to be a new man of God. I am changing my thoughts, my attitude, and my actions to honor Jesus' gift and become the man He and His Father expect me to be. I am going to live and love like a prince and not as a pauper.
